We’re looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager to take ownership of our social media presence, ensuring a bold, engaging, and elevated brand narrative across platforms. This role is perfect for someone with a strong creative vision, a passion for content creation, and the ability to shape and execute a high-impact social strategy.

As Social Media Manager, you’ll balance hands-on content creation with strategic collaboration – creating content yourself while also working closely with a third-party agency to batch-produce content in shoots, and identifying and leveraging social media talent within the business to drive authenticity and engagement. The goal is to establish us as leading luxury brands in the social space, using a mix of in-the-moment storytelling and curated content.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the brand’s organic social media strategy, ensuring a consistent and elevated brand identity across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook.
  • Create engaging, high-quality content – from filming and editing short-form videos to writing compelling captions and crafting visual stories.
  • Work closely with a third-party content agency to plan, brief, and execute batch content creation through professional shoots.
  • Leverage internal social media talent within the business to bring authentic, in-the-moment content to life.
  • Plan, script, and oversee video content production, ensuring all output aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and values.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends to keep content fresh, relevant, and optimised for engagement and reach.
  • Manage community engagement, responding to comments and messages in a way that fosters brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing and e-commerce teams to align social content with business goals, product launches, and campaigns.
  • Track, analyse, and report on social media performance, using insights to refine and improve content strategy.
  • Manage influencer partnerships, ensuring they align with the brand and contribute to meaningful audience growth.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio of original content creation.
  • Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills, with the ability to both produce and direct high-quality social-first content.
  • Experience working with content agencies – knowing how to brief, oversee, and maximise content production in professional shoots.
  • A strong creative vision for how to elevate a brand through social, with the ability to execute innovative and platform-native content.
  • A deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook, with a clear grasp of trends, best practices, and emerging formats.
  • Comfortable with filming, presenting, and directing content.
  • Ability to spot and nurture social media talent across the business, bringing internal voices and personalities into our storytelling.
  • Proficiency in social media tools (e.g. Later, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for content planning and editing.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to track performance and use insights to refine strategy.
  • Passion for luxury retail, jewellery, and fashion, with a sharp eye for aesthetics and brand alignment.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in a luxury, high-end retail, or fashion brand.
  • Understanding of paid social advertising and influencer marketing strategies.
