As an MAA at the Anthony Nicholas Group, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the product strategy. You will work in a tightly knit Merchandising team alongside the Buying team to ensure that the right product is in the right place at the right time to maximise sales and profitability.
Our merchandising team supports the achievement of our key strategic goals. You and the team’s insights will maximise our growth as a business and ensure we remain at the forefront of the retail jewellery, watch, and diamond industry.
You will assist the merchandising team in various tasks, helping to deliver key department goals and objectives.
You will understand our Fields and Fraser Hart clients and use data and analytics to assist in tailoring ranges that deliver for different clients in both the UK and Irish markets.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Areas of Responsibility
- Investigate and resolve data inaccuracies, report on stock overages and shortages, and ensure this is maintained accurately
- Act as a self-starter, working on a range of products trading in both markets - as your knowledge of the product and client grows, you’ll identify opportunities and continuously learn from trading reactions.
Commercial Awareness
- Assist the Merchandising team in the delivery of the day-to-day activities including reporting, stock management, line projections, sales analysis, stock management and repricing.
- Support with communications, preparing for store range presentations and developing campaign packs for product launches.
Forecasting and Trading
- Work with the Merchandising team to manage reporting tools that reviews information to ensure all aspects of the department’s goals are met - including WSSIs, line projections, option planning, and budgeting.
Product Knowledge
- Develop a deep, broad knowledge of the Fields and Fraser Hart Jewellery, Diamond, and Branded product areas
- Always seek to drive innovation and use insights to identify future trends
- Stay commercially aware and use your knowledge of client behaviour to continuously seek to offer outstanding products to our clients.
