WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

1. Operations Management:

- Oversee & manage the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely processing of incoming and outgoing deliveries

- Monitor workflow and coordinate with Buying & merchandising teams to prioritise stock team activity to meet business service level agreements (SLAs)

- Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs and loss.

 

2. Team Management:

- Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff to maintain highest safety and operational standards

- Ensure all staff foster a culture of passion, positivity, teamwork, love learning, Trust & Respect.

- Conduct regular 121’s , performance reviews , coach and develop our staff

 

3. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, including handling and storage of our products

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting warehouse and Logistics operations

- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective and preventative actions as necessary

 

4. Logistics and Coordination:

- Coordinate with internal departments, such as Buying and Merchandising teams, and external logistics providers to ensure seamless operations

- Manage the logistics of deliveries, including customs documentation and transportation providers

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics partners

 

5. Inventory Management:

- Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimise shrinkage

- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations

- Track inventory and generate reports

 

6. Facility Management:

- Ensure the warehouse facility is maintained in a clean, organised, and secure manner

- Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.
